Mt. Haran
The last trace of any human civilisation at the once-peaceful Mount Haran is the village hidden somewhere in the side of the volcano, buried and preserved in the ash of its first violent eruption. The land in a ten kilometre radius has all but burnt up, though some patches are cooler, saved from the magma channels that are usually closer to the surface. The monsters here are just as extreme as the land they dominate, and young rookies are highly discouraged from going there.
