Ustriam A nation of Progress Widely considered one of the most 'secure' nations due to the Academy's establishment there, Ustriam is the center of development for civilisation in Eskaria. It is considered a haven of technological, magical and scientific advancement - which may be why neighbouring nations have a keen eye upon it. Its eastern coast is a wall of craggy mountains, rendering all attacks from that side immensely difficult, if not practically impossible, but other than that the rest of its defences are man-made. Luton The capital of Ustriam, Luton serves as the hive of civilisation, composed of sleek buildings and clean streets. Here the people always seem to be late for something, rushing about to meet some imaginary time or standard. The hustle and bustle is perpetual, save for the abandoned areas where handfuls of low-level monsters lurk, making easy practice for any eager rookies. Kilerth Nestled in the peaks of the eastern coast, Kilerth is a town famous for its magical studies. The people here are dedicated to the art of magic and summoning, having to rely on both to draw resources from the otherwise perilous terrain. More cunning monsters can be found here, using the rocky terrain to their advantage to get the jump on unsuspecting wanderers. Acrine Once this little village was the perfect get-away spot, seated on the scenic beaches of Ustriam's western coast. Unfortunately it was long ago lost to the bloody conflict, and stands now as a reminder of the cruelty of war. The quaint cottages have been ripped apart, and carnage stains the dystopian streets, teeming with monsters driven mad by the stale promise of blood.

Astax is rumoured to have been the first nation to launch an attack on the others, ultimately starting the age of conflict Eskaria has been thrust into. It is a harsh land, torn into a variety of extreme terrains due to excess corrupted magic, a horrible side-effect of the countless magical attacks and counterattacks. The northern border's mountain was turned into a blistering volcano, while the western coast is now a frozen tundra. It is mostly dense jungle that sits between these two anomalies. Despite the phenomenon, Astax has proven to be very adaptable, and their greed has only intensified over the years. Pran Pran is a central town in a large clearing of dense rainforest, known as the 'headquarters' of Astax's offensive forces. Despite the somewhat suffocating terrain, they manipulated the area to allow large, secure buildings to live in. Most of the nation's fire power is stored here, and the best weapons in Eskaria are forged right here. Nishka This village has suffered incredibly over the years, being smack dab in the middle of the large western area that froze over. It was a miracle that they managed to survive at all, and now they endure the harsh cold, sleet and snow with warm coats and warm fires in every cabin they made. These people could care less about what goes on in other regions, more concerned with surviving the harsh climate and the deadly monsters that thrive in it. Mt Haran The last trace of any human civilisation at the once-peaceful Mount Haran is the village hidden somewhere in the side of the volcano, buried and preserved in the ash of its first violent eruption. The land in a ten kilometre radius has all but burnt up, though some patches are cooler, saved from the magma channels that are usually closer to the surface. The monsters here are just as extreme as the land they dominate, and young rookies are highly discouraged from going there.

Ethal The nation of Beasts Since long ago Ethal has been renowned for the wide variety of creatures it is home to. Summoners enjoyed touring the lands, from the great desert at its centre to the rolling plains dominating the east to the stunning beaches of the south, to try their hand at researching and taming some of the unique beasts here. With the age of conflict, however, most populations have dwindled, and Ethal has taken the opportunity to send their summoners into war, letting greed blind them. Garigill A small town a few kilometres into the great Valria Desert, Garigill serves mostly as a camp for travellers seeking safe passage through the desert. It is the only place in the desert to remain, sourcing fresh water from underground, and the people are always willing to accompany wanderers and help them survive, for a price. Talking to traders here might also get you some cool, strange artefacts - or glittery junk, depending on who you talk to. The monsters beyond the town thrive in the heat and are known to be particularly hardy, so come prepared. Perlshaw Perlshaw is a port town on the southern coast, suspended above the water on sturdy wooden platforms. It is a fisherman's paradise with all of the stunning fish that go by, but it is only safe to swim in the large pool maintained in the centre of town - the waters surrounding it are teeming with monsters waiting for an easy meal. Perlshaw monsters are commonly bathed in bright colours, making them prized creatures across the globe. VEnzor Venzor is a hardy village in the northwestern depths of the plains. It uses the rapid winds to supply it with energy, a fact which most locals are particularly proud of. Of all the places in Ethal, Venzor is perhaps the safest place to live, as any threat can be seen coming from miles away across the flat terrain. The monsters of the plains vary greatly, especially during migration seasons, and are known to give keen fighters a rewarding challenge
